Insulate SB, Inc is currently accepting applications for Insulation Installers to join our team. We are looking for someone with Insulation Experience but not required. Construction experience OK as well. We will train you and pair you with a seasoned installer. Can be hard work at times but very rewarding at the same time. Job tasks include working inside attics, crawl spaces, new and existing construction homes and insulation removal. 40+ hours, plus weekends available for the right person to grow in an established company and work your way up to other positions. Starting pay "Based on Experience" (BOE)
Under the direction of the Superintendent, this position is responsible for installing insulation at a variety of job sites according to established work methods and procedures.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assures there is sufficient and appropriate material and equipment on truck to adequately complete the insulation job.
Drives to and from the job site and unloads insulation materials at the job site.
Cleans job site daily.
Installs insulation in accordance with company standards as well as manufacturer’s printed label regarding thickness and density.
Checks work for errors and corrects them if necessary.
Accounts for material and time used on each job, and reports paperwork daily.
Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualified applicants will have:
Previous insulation/construction experience is preferred but not required. You will be placed with a seasoned installer and we will train you.
A valid CA drivers license (with a good driving record);
Ability to use a staple gun, hammer, utility knife and work on scaffolding/ladders.
Ability to lift in excess of 75 lbs and ability to crawl in small spaces (i.e. attics,crawl spaces)
Regular attendance is required, Monday through Friday. Saturdays upon request
